Devoted to Diving
I have been working hard and I need a break. Getting out of the rut for two weeks and spending my time on the beach, on diving sites and on hiking trails is something I can look forward to now. A holiday in the Cayman Islands sounded exciting and when my friend at the travel company called up to ask if I would like to join a group of divers traveling to Grand Cayman, I accepted with alacrity. We are scheduled to leave this weekend. I have been browsing the net for information on all the three Cayman Islands and have made a note of all the diving sites and places that I would like to visit during my trip.
My colleagues have been supportive, giving me suggestions and information about websites that I could use to prepare for my trip. I have done some diving before this. I was in the Bahamas for my last vacation. Diving sites around the islands of the Bahamas reveal an unbelievably beautiful marine world of fauna and flora. I went for a certification in diving with of one of the well known dive operators based at my hotel.
With more than 159 diving sites to choose from, divers can experience the thrill of wall dives and explore the huge variety of sponges and corals in ship wrecks and underwater caves. Stingray City on Grand Cayman is a unique attraction for divers, snorkelers and families.
Some of my friends do believe I am nuts to go off alone to such a romantic place as the Caribbean, but I do want to enjoy a vacation in beautiful surroundings doing the things that I feel like doing. I have seen the itinerary of this group and I think I will enjoy myself with them.
